Anthony Loffredo, known as “Black Alien,” has gained notoriety for his extreme body modifications, taking his appearance to an otherworldly level. Loffredo’s journey into body transformation began with a fascination for the human body and a passion for bodybuilding. His quest to mold and modify the human form led him down a unique path of body alterations.
Loffredo’s early interest in bodybuilding provided a foundation for his later body modification endeavors. He used the internet to watch bodybuilders’ transformations from a young age, setting the stage for his future endeavors.
In his 20s, while working as a security guard, Loffredo felt a disconnect with his chosen path and decided to change careers. He embarked on a journey to sculpt his body over four years, culminating in the transformation known as “Black Alien.”
His modifications include a distinctive black tattoo covering his body, a face tattoo that has turned his face black, a split tongue reminiscent of a lizard, and a unique eye tattoo. In addition to tattoos, he has undergone surgical procedures, such as dermal implants on his head to achieve a reptilian-like appearance, ear removal, and dermal piercings on his nose, brow, and chin. To create a lightning bolt pattern, portions of his cheeks were surgically removed. Loffredo’s commitment to his transformation even led him to travel to Spain for a nose removal surgery, as it was illegal in his native France.
“I stopped everything at 24 and left for Australia. It has become normal, even unconscious, to constantly think about my plans [for the body modification] for the next few months,” he said, adding that he loves to get into the shoes of a “scary character.”

Loffredo’s journey is documented on Instagram as the “Black Alien Project,” where he has amassed a following of over 850,000 people. His commitment to his transformation has garnered both admiration and questioning. Some applaud his boldness, while others wonder about his motivations.
His future plans include further body modifications, such as replacing his skin with metal, and modifying his arms, legs, fingers, and the back of his head. Recently, he shared photos of a new modification, an “alien claw” that involved the removal of two fingers, which marks the next step in his transformation.

Despite his unique appearance, Loffredo claims he has no difficulty attracting romantic partners. He also enjoys the support of his family, with his mother expressing love and acceptance for her son’s choices.
